Changing the narrative in the outdoor industry

Boheme Retreats is proud to be a part of the REI Embark accelerator, which was recently featured in a Seattle Times article. As a startup founded by a woman of color, we are thrilled to be included in this program, which is focused on supporting entrepreneurs who have traditionally been underrepresented in the outdoor industry.

The REI Embark accelerator is a $30 million initiative that provides funding, mentorship, and resources to help entrepreneurs of color launch and grow their outdoor businesses. The program is designed to help overcome the barriers that entrepreneurs of color often face, such as limited access to funding, networks, and resources.

For Boheme Retreats, being a part of the REI Embark accelerator has been a game changer. We have been able to connect with other entrepreneurs of color who share our passion for the outdoors and are working to build inclusive and sustainable businesses. The mentorship and support we have received from the program have been invaluable, and we are excited to continue learning and growing as a company.

As a company, Boheme Retreats is committed to making the outdoors more accessible and inclusive. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the beauty and wonder of nature, regardless of their background or identity. We offer unique outdoor retreats, filled with vintage campers. Our camping spaces are designed to connect people with the natural world and with one another.

We are excited to continue working with REI and other entrepreneurs of color to build a more diverse and inclusive outdoor industry.
