Founded by Boheme Retreats, a glamping brand known for creating inclusive and welcoming outdoor spaces, Retrofolk Summer Camp was born from a desire to reimagine the traditional summer camp experience for women — particularly women of color — who haven’t always seen themselves represented in outdoor spaces. The camp is a safe haven, where you’re not only encouraged to show up as your full self but are also surrounded by a community that looks like you, understands you, and celebrates you.
What You Can Expect at Retrofolk
Every Retrofolk camp session is curated with intention. Over the course of five days and four nights, campers can expect:
Chef-Prepared Meals: From nourishing breakfasts to multi-course dinners, each meal is carefully curated to bring comfort and delight to the table. Plus, there’s wine with dinner!
Daily Outdoor Adventures: Whether it’s tubing down the river, hiking to waterfalls, or simply lounging creekside with a book nature immersion is a key part of the Retrofolk experience.
Wellness Workshops: Start your mornings with yoga, meditation, and nature-based wellness sessions led by BIPOC instructors passionate about outdoor healing and mindfulness.
